This policy applies to all Phoenix Sensors mobile applications, including but not limited to:
• BLE sensor monitoring apps
• Device configuration apps
• Gateway tools
• Diagnostic and data-collection apps

1.1 Sensor & Device Data
Depending on the app, we may collect data from compatible Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) or wired devices, including:
• Pressure, temperature, or other sensor readings
• Device identifiers (e.g., MAC address, UUID)
• RSSI (signal strength)
• Timestamps
1.2 Device Information
To perform core functionality, the app may collect:
• Bluetooth status and device data for scanning/connecting
• Operating system version and device model
• Location permission status (required by Android for BLE scanning—see Section 2.2)
1.3 App Usage Data
• User preferences (units, notification settings, retention settings)
• Background monitoring status
• Optional diagnostic logs (stored locally unless exported by the user)
2. How We Use Your Information
2.1 Primary Functionality
Phoenix Sensors apps use the collected information to:
• Connect to and monitor compatible Phoenix Sensors hardware
• Display real-time and historical sensor readings
• Visualize data through charts, graphs, or logs
• Allow data export
• Support configuration, calibration, or diagnostics
• Enable optional background monitoring
2.2 Location Permission (Android Only)
Android requires location permission for BLE scanning.
• We do not collect, store, or transmit your geographic location.
• Permission is used solely for BLE device discovery.
2.3 Data Storage
• All sensor data is stored locally on your device in an encrypted database.
• We do not upload or sync your data to external servers.
• Data is only shared when you choose to export it.
3. Data Sharing & Disclosure
Phoenix Sensors does not sell, rent, or trade your data.
We do not share your sensor data or personal information with third parties except when:
• You intentionally export data to another system
• Required by law with valid legal authority
Our apps operate offline and do not transmit sensor data unless initiated by you.
4. Permissions Used
Depending on the app, permissions may include:
• Bluetooth permissions – scanning, connecting, reading BLE devices
• Location permission (Android) – required for BLE scanning
• Notifications – background monitoring or sensor alerts
• Storage/file access – exporting data (CSV, Excel, PDF, etc.)
• Background services – continued scanning or logging when enabled
Permissions are used only for app functionality.
5. Background Monitoring
If you enable background monitoring:
• The app may continue scanning or receiving data in the background
• A persistent notification may appear
• The feature can be disabled at any time
• Android may require location permission for background BLE use
6. Data Retention
Some apps allow you to configure how long sensor data is stored on your device (e.g., 7 days, 14 days, 30 days, or custom).
You may delete stored data at any time through app settings or by uninstalling the app.
7. Data Security
We implement strong security measures, including:
• Encrypted local data storage
• No automatic cloud transmission
• Minimal required permissions
• Full user control of data export and deletion
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
• Access your locally stored data
• Export your data
• Delete your data at any time
• Disable background monitoring
• Revoke permissions
• Uninstall the app to remove all stored data
9. Children’s Privacy
Phoenix Sensors mobile applications are not intended for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Phoenix Sensors apps may utilize:

• SQLite – secure local database
These services do not have access to your sensor data.
