PPT77 Combination Pressure and Temperature Transducer
The PPT77 Combination Pressure and Temperature Transducer measures process pressure and temperature through one compact 1/4-18 NPT connection. Designed and manufactured in the USA, the PPT77 helps OEM equipment manufacturers collect two critical measurements without installing separate pressure and temperature devices.
Pressure is provided through a selectable analog voltage output, while temperature is measured using an independent PT100 or PT1000 platinum RTD. Both measurements originate from the same wetted process port, helping reduce system complexity, additional fittings, installation space, and potential leak points.
One Transducer for Pressure and Temperature Measurement
Many hydraulic, pneumatic, refrigeration, and industrial fluid systems require both pressure and temperature data to evaluate system performance. Traditionally, this requires two sensors, two process connections, and additional installation hardware.
The PPT77 combines both measurements in a compact SS316L housing. The pressure channel delivers a standard analog voltage signal, while the electrically isolated RTD provides a passive resistance output for connection to a controller, transmitter, PLC, or data acquisition system.
This two-in-one design is especially valuable when equipment space is limited or when adding another process penetration would increase cost and installation complexity.

Integrated PT100 or PT1000 RTD
The PPT77 includes a Class B platinum RTD that measures temperature at the same process port as the pressure sensing element. The RTD is electrically isolated from the pressure output, allowing each signal to be processed independently by the host system.
Both PT100 and PT1000 configurations use the standard 0.00385 temperature coefficient and follow the resistance-versus-temperature characteristics defined by IEC 60751. Class B tolerance is ±0.30°C at 0°C and increases according to the IEC tolerance equation as temperature moves away from 0°C.

All-Welded SS316L Construction
The PPT77 uses an all-welded SS316L wetted housing and pressure port without an elastomer seal in the wetted path. This construction provides broad compatibility with oils, air, gas, water, and other industrial fluids compatible with 316L stainless steel.
Media compatibility should always be confirmed for aggressive chemicals, specialized fluids, or applications with unusual operating conditions.
