PPT56 Compact Analog High Pressure Transducer
The PPT56 Compact Analog High Pressure Transducer delivers accurate measurements and reliable performance in demanding environments. It uses a 316L stainless steel media-isolated housing, so it withstands liquids, gases, oils, air, and even corrosive media. As a result, this analog pressure sensor works well in both industrial and commercial systems.
The sensor uses a silicon MEMS pressure element mounted on the backside of the stainless steel body. This placement protects sensitive parts from direct contact, and it also improves stability over time. In addition, factory stabilization ensures long-term accuracy of ±0.5% FS and linearity of 0.25% across a wide temperature range.
The PPT56 offers flexibility for many applications. It supports pressure ranges from 1,000 psi to 15,000 psi, and engineers can choose absolute, sealed gauge, or gauge versions. Moreover, the transducer provides standard analog outputs such as voltage, current, and millivolt, which makes integration simple. Proof ratings reach 2x full scale, and burst protection extends to 3x full scale, so the device handles extreme conditions with ease.
Because the PPT56 features a compact and vibration-resistant design, it suits many industries. For example, customers use it in automotive engines, compressors, HVAC systems, medical devices, aerospace, and industrial automation. Furthermore, it includes standard process connections like 1/8”-18 NPT and 1/4”-18 NPT, while OEM options such as 7/16-20 UNF and 1/4” BSP are also available.
Finally, the PPT56 operates from -40°C to 125°C and combines precision, durability, and adaptability in one package. Therefore, this high-pressure transducer offers a dependable solution for companies that need consistent results under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions.
