PPT87 Autoclave Pressure Transducer
The PPT87 autoclave pressure transducer is a digital high-pressure sensor designed for demanding OEM applications requiring pressure measurement up to 20,000 PSI and operating temperatures up to 150°C. Available with a 9/16-18 UNF-3A autoclave pressure connection, the PPT87 combines pressure and media-temperature measurement with digital I²C or SPI communication in a rugged stainless steel package.

High-Pressure Measurement with an Autoclave Connection
For high-pressure systems, the PPT87 is available with a 9/16-18 UNF-3A autoclave pressure port. This connection option makes the sensor particularly well suited for applications where conventional lower-pressure process connections may not meet the system requirements.
Pressure ranges are available from 50 to 20,000 PSI in gauge or absolute configurations. Other pressure connections include 1/4-inch NPT, 1/8-inch NPT, and 7/16-20 UNF-3A, allowing the PPT87 platform to support both high-pressure and more conventional OEM installations.
High-Temperature Autoclave Pressure Transducer to 150°C
The PPT87 autoclave pressure transducer is designed to operate across a -40°C to 150°C temperature range while measuring both pressure and media temperature. Its silicon MEMS pressure element is media isolated and hermetically sealed within the stainless steel housing, while thermally compatible materials help reduce mechanical stress as temperature changes.
This combination is useful for applications where both elevated temperature and high pressure must be considered when selecting a transducer, including engine systems, compressors, industrial equipment, and demanding test or control systems.
Digital I²C and SPI Pressure Transducer
The PPT87 combines the capabilities of a high-pressure autoclave pressure transducer with direct digital communication. Unlike conventional high-pressure transmitters that rely on an analog output, the PPT87 provides an I²C or SPI interface. Internal signal processing conditions the pressure signal, applies temperature correction, and provides corrected pressure and temperature data to the host system.
I²C versions use a standard 0x28 slave address, with other addresses available by request. Protocol, operating mode, update rate, core clock, and other communication parameters are factory configured based on the application.
