PPT89TH Subminiature High Temperature Pressure Transducer
The PPT89TH subminiature pressure transducer packs a fully compensated pressure sensor into a welded stainless steel body just 0.59 inches in diameter. Built for OEM designs where space and media compatibility both matter, it operates from -40°C to +150°C and fits into assemblies where a standard industrial transducer cannot.
Available in ranges from 15 to 300 PSI in gauge or absolute reference, the PPT89TH offers a choice of 0.5 to 4.5 V ratiometric analog or I²C digital output. Six standard process connections, including M6x1 and 1/8 NPT, let the same sensor platform drop into widely different assemblies.
Subminiature Pressure Transducer for Tightly Packaged OEM Assemblies
When the design envelope leaves little room for a sensor, every fraction of an inch counts. The PPT89TH measures just 0.59 inches across and 1.26 inches long with the M6x1 port, not including leads. Its 26 AWG flying leads exit through a sealed grommet and route cleanly through dense assemblies without adding bulk.
Inside, a media isolated silicon sensing element is factory calibrated and temperature compensated, so the output is ready to use without correction on the host side. That combination of small size, stainless construction, and a calibrated signal makes the PPT89TH a practical choice for compact instruments, pumps, and embedded control systems.

High Temperature Operation to 150°C
The PPT89TH operates across a wide -40°C to +150°C range, making it suitable for engine compartments, compressors, hydraulic circuits, and other locations where heat rules out many compact sensors. Accuracy is specified over the -15°C to +125°C compensated range, where the sensor is factory calibrated to correct for temperature effects.
The welded stainless steel construction keeps mechanical stress off the sensing element, supporting long term stability through repeated pressure and thermal cycling. To learn more about how heat influences sensor output, read our article on pressure sensor temperature effects.

Welded SS316L Construction with Six Process Connections
The SS316L pressure port is laser welded to an SS316L housing, with the sensing element and signal conditioning circuit sealed inside. The assembly carries an IP65 rating, meaning it is dust tight and protected against water jets.
Six standard process connections are available: 1/4 NPT, 1/8 NPT, 7/16-20 UNF, 9/16-18 UNF AN, 1/4 BSPP, and M6x1. The NPT connections seal on the thread, while the UNF, BSPP, and M6x1 connections seal with a silicone (VMQ) O-ring.
The PPT89TH is compatible with air, gas, water, oil, and industrial fluids that are compatible with SS316L and, where fitted, silicone. Media compatibility should always be evaluated for the specific fluid or gas, concentration, temperature, and operating environment.
Subminiature Pressure Transducer Applications
